Description:

A Novel
“A masterpiece of vivid characterization and unrelenting suspense.” — Alan Graham, Words & Pictures Press

He knew by the cry of locked wheels on tarmac, by the sting of rubber smoke in his nostrils, by the core of silence in which he found himself despite the noise—and perhaps mostly by this stillness—that he was not going to make it.

A psychiatrist can't explain a child prodigy, so he has to destroy him. What power does the child have? Only his astonishing power to move people with his art and his innocence.

I've never read such a compelling portrait of an individual caught up in this life-or-death struggle with forces that must smother his creative spark to prove themselves right about its nonexistence.

At the end of the Bruce Willis movie "Sixth Sense" I got chills that lingered for the better part of a week. It's been months since I read He Fell Through Clouds and the chills are still with me every time I think about it.
