Women are generally exposed to considerable amounts of daily stress during pregnancy which can affect the fetus in various ways. Prior studies have determined a significant negative effect on the developing child of a woman who is in a violent, abusive, or physically harmful relationship. This study takes this environment correlation to a different level, investigating the relationship between an expectant mother and her work environment.
