In 2003 Joshua Skye, set forth to make an independent feature film called “Captive Dreaming.” Forming Indivision Independent Films with two long-time friends, the trio put their undivided time and effort into the task, from completion of the script, casting and most of the preliminary production tasks in record time. Then one day into principle photography one of the financial backers got squeamish about the homoerotism, nudity and violence that Joshua Skye wasn’t willing to compromise. The financing was pulled along with all the equipment! “Captive Dreaming” was stopped dead in its tracks disappointing the entire cast and crew.
