Warble and Rant is a demo CD from Roo, a spoken word poet, lyricist and artist based in Raleigh-Durham, NC. Though a live spoken word set is the best way to hear him, this demo serves as a way to sample some of what he has to offer. From a conversation with God to liberal politics, from rape and sexual assault to relating with others...Warble and Rant will stir you.
In general Warble and Rant is an early recording from 2004, but has been updated. Originally this demo was unmastered as a whole, but this version offers two updated spoken words poems. "Bloodied Knees", a spoken word survey of political commentary, has been rerecorded and mastered. Also mastered is "Clamor", a face-to-face, edgy and sometimes terrifying account of sexual assault.
