There is a lot of good information in here, and the book is over 200 pages. However, it's really just a collection of articles by a bunch of internet marketers. Each article ends with a plug for that person's services. These types of articles are usually included in the zillions of free ezines that you can sign up for all over the web. There is nothing in here that you couldn't get for free elsewhere. However, it is nice to have all of this stuff in one place.
I would not be surprised if you actually could find this book given away for free as a bonus for signing up for any number of free ezines out there, because it comes with free reprint and redistribution rights.
The biggest problem with this book, though, is its age. It was published in 2001. Although many of the concepts are timeless, many others are not. A lot of these techniques are much less effective than they used to be, but how will you know which are still good? Also, there is no discussion of how to bypass spam filters. This is ironic, because one of the chapters is called "Getting Your Emails Opened and Read." Unless you can get past the spam filters, your emails won't even be seen.
