Digital Cuttlefish combines lyrical craftsmanship with a sardonic bite - making the Colbert Report look like a twittering gibbon. Often draws upon social issues and secular issues, with a generous helping of science and psychology. The blog for Digital Cuttlefish features a great range of work which is reflected in this very attractive book. Buy it if only to educate yourself on how a truly talented skeptical writer decapitates pompous hypocrisy and religious buffoonery – sometimes in iambic pentameter!
I've been a fan of Digital Cuttlefish ever since I discovered his blog. To see these playful and beautifully crafted poems on the printed page is an absolute delight. Cuttlefish crafts his poems with wit and a finely tuned ear for language, and one can always expect a twist or cunningly barbed subtext in every poem.
The book shipped far faster than I expected - I had it in my hands in only three days, and since I live in the UK that includes the flight across the Atlantic. Very impressive!
If you have an ounce of poetry in your soul, a mere smattering of a GSOL or any interest at all in the atheist perspective you'll want to own this.

I got my copy of The Digital Cuttlefish, Vol.1 via snailmail on Monday, and I'm thrilled to have it. Delivery was a lot faster than the boilerplate on the order form would suggest, and the book itself looks great: sturdy binding, clean readable fonts and layout, striking simply-designed cover with the signature cuttlefish blog banner.
Good thing Lulu did such a good job, because the Cuttlefish's verse deserves the best. This stuff is more fun than beer and pretzels. Joe and I have been reading it over-the-shoulder whenever it pops up on Pharyngula, and now we're picking up the book at odd times and reading random bits aloud to each other when the mood strikes us.
Electronic copies and Cuttlefish's blog are great, but having the actual book to wave at holy-rollers and random passers-by is priceless. Now we're trying to decide who else we know deserves a copy.
