This sonnet collection makes the Bard's work more understandable to students and sheds the daunting challenge of them having to labor through more obscure scholarly endeavors. It provides a transition for students until they can reach that level, making this work invaluable.

I love George's interpretations and analysis of Shakespeare's sonnets - makes it much more enjoyable to read them - they are lovely muscial works, but I often found "the bard" difficult to comeprehend. This is dfeinitely a must have for students and anyone interested in Shakespeare's work.

Insightful, profound and truly professional. Someone with the vision and wit to leave the pompous intellect out of the translations. A great follow up masterpiece from the author of "Rhymes From the Heart." Somewhere old Willie is smiling.
Awesome for Students!!

George Manos has translated all of Shakespeares sonnets into modern English! Finally, someone has translated all the sonnets of Shakespeare (a feat never done before now). The sonnets are presented in a straightforward style, in easily understood language. This book is a must have for any person who loves Shakespeare, as well as for any student needing to take a British Literature class.
