Best Drawing Book I've Ever Seen [ No Rating ] 6 Sep 2007
While I’ve read the tutorials online, I just can’t help but wonder at how well done this book is. It appeals to a much more intuitive side of drawing that most drawing books don’t, while still giving you the basic you-need-to-know-this facts. The book is stranded with the thinking that what it’s offering is not the RULES, but rather a framework from which you can better understand and draw the body, building on actually studying the body’s movements in life. In short: this is exactly the book I’ve been hoping for and dreaming of, and I take my hat off to Joumana Medlej for having the gusto to make it.

It’s also the ONLY guide I could find online that I wanted to pay for.
Amazing! [ No Rating ] 12 Jun 2007

Absolutely wonderful. I've never been able to quite pin down the difference between ethnicities in drawing. This helps amazingly. And the expression guide! Pure love.

I bought this book a while ago - and it's been very useful and has improved my drawing skills by...a lot! It's also really interesting; I learnt a lot of new facts from it. So yeah...it's pretty great!

Excellent! The shipping and everything was right on time, and the book itself is wonderfull. Most how-to-draw people books I've seen are either for very beginners or get way to in-depth into anatomy. This book, though, is a great medium, that covers the basic stuff, but still goes a little more in-depth without getting complicated or confusing. Also, the guides in this book for emotions and for different "human types" are so well done and so useful. Very well done and highly recommended! : )
