Short stories have always been my favorite thing to read, especially when they're based on real life. And funny. I read the Feral Chicken in one sitting, laughed out loud at least 4 times, and generally couldn't put it down. Great writing! :)

Your "Dishwasher Incident" was beautifully done. I think I have been in that situation myself once or twice, though we have no dishwasher - not enough room in out kitchen except for a tiny one maybe. Good work, Joe!
