Description:

This book goes beyond the hype about generations and their “clashes” in the workplace. It does explore the differences among generations (like Baby Boomers and Generation X), but it goes further to help you figure out exactly how to apply that knowledge to real issues in the workplace, like marketing products and services, creating organizational systems and processes, and managing inter-generational conflict among staff. Knowledge about the differences is important, but the ability to sustain cross-generational conversations actually holds the key to effectiveness, and that is the focus of this book. The book is 57 pages long. Be sure to take a look at the free "preview," which contains the table of contents as well as the complete first chapter.

This e-book is sophisticated and high-level enough to be valued by senior managers, yet concise enough to actually be read by senior managers. This book simultaneously:

* addresses generational differences seriously and without stereotyping,
* compiles a simple, but useful composite of the many academic generational frameworks in the professional literature, and
* provides suggestions on meaningful next steps devoid of the pat answers which so often accompany books and training seminars on generational issues.

I can summarize this review in one word: Buy.
