Having taken Dr. Mitchell's formal course in space power systems, I can tell you first hand this book was written with expert knowledge and attention to detail. This is an excellent reference for all types of space based power systems from the practical to the theoretical, with a slight bit of humor from time to time to keep it interesting. I'd highly reccomend this text as a primary teaching tool.
