Annie has done a terrific service to those of us who need help marketing our Lulu books. Even after going through it the second and third time, I am still learning from it. That is probably because we use what we need at the time we need it. This book has tips on everything from Press Releases to Author Bios and on through how to write a blurb and how to plug in to a target audience. Most wonderful of all, she shows how to get lots of publicity mileage for very little, if any, cash outlay. I hope to charge full-speed ahead with the aid of her tips. Very informative and useful information. Easy to read, including many good tips and advice. Thank you Ms. Broadwater and Ms.Toor, I think you guys did a great job. I've read a lot on marketing books and I learned quite a bit with this piece. For those of you having problems downloading, you might want to consider a broadband connection.

I've tried a number of times and can't download, I also tried right-clicking on the download page and saving the file as instructed and it gets to 99% and never finishes.

The other reviews looked great...but I too had problems downloading the file...same as the guy from January 2007. It is now April. Would someone please check the link. Thank you! I'll come back to try to get it later. I hope to get my novel ready for publishing this summer.

You think if it's FREE it's not worth the bother. But I have a library book out about marketing which is not half as good. Rachel Toor has produced something useful by having a Contents of meaningful subtitles. Easy to find the part to print out for solving the problem of the day. I would recommend it as a hard copy for reference which wouldn't get lost as easy as this printout.

Thank you so much on the tips and the help, however, I must admit that the format of this book make my head kind of spin. I know that all writers want to be as creative as possible with their books, but the shifting of page sides really hurt my head! LOL Otherwise, I must repeat... thank you so much for the great tips and help! This book is a must for those interested in further pursuing marketing on their books. Please, though, don't let the shifting of the pages hurt your eyes!

Much love!

I found Annie Broadwater's take on the subject illuminating and straight to the point, written in an easy to understand manner.
Internet selling and presentation are in a constant state of advancement and although I've been knocking around this game awhile, she gave me some very new and interesting ideas to think about.

A definite must-read for anyone just beginning in the publishing and marketing game.
