Description:

Imprisoned by the enemy and tricked by Malachon into giving up his birthright Tark finds the favour of the gods when Anshon shows him how to regain his lost dream. His courage grows when a young warrior, Mitra Mitraeous, pledges to stand with him against all odds. Lithe and fair haired Mitra holds an uncanny resemblence to Tark's dead cousin Dimitri and he begins to confuse one man with another. Then Tark steals the High Priest Stavion's redith beads and foolishly makes a pact with Malachon to fight in the arena against one of his toughest warriors.
