Description:

"One of the biggest obstacles of my Buddhist practice was my anger. As a black man there was so much to be angry about, yet at some point I had to grapple with it. I could not both hold on to my anger and achieve liberation. Because many of my students also enter into the Dharma stream wounded and heartbroken, I wanted to offer a series of meditations to help them emancipate themselves from the slave master of anger. I also offer these to the black community as a whole, for we cannot have communal liberation without doing this very personal work. Just as the ABC’s are at the foundation of language, so these meditations can be used as the basis for deeper understanding of anger and how to relieve ourselves of it." Lama Rangdrol
