Introduction to Programming Using Java, Fifth Edition
and found like i am traveling from the traditional age of programming to this OOP age with you telling me all the stories of how it developed from DOS based bootable floppy 5.2" disk programs to what we see now.
a little bit about myself, i learnt programming in 93 in Pakistan when it was beginning of Windows 3.1 and we used to use Wordstar and Lotus on our systems. i started from GWBASIC and found it always inside whenever i attempted to learn any language. i intend to master JAVA now and planning to open a new way of mass development of JAVA programmes from a very small user level.
what a great way to take a user like me to through this age, fantastic. so, pls accept my great appreciation for this absolutely fantastic workdone in writing this free book containing a great knowledge in a great organized way and of course presented in a great way as well.
web is full of resources, however if u have any specific that could help me to fly through my thirst for JAVA, it would be a great honour.
sincerely,
Ammar
