I finally got to see your preview. I have Microsoft Word and MS Works had to be converted to Mike Word before I could read it. Anyway, it is an impressive work, with the odd syntax error here and there (speaking as an English teacher). Your childhood is vividly portrayed, and I remember those old British toilets with high cisterns and chains which you had to yank. Well Done and Good Luck! Ian

Micheal has done an exceelnt job with this gritty trues story. The down-at-heels, hard luck childhood stories have been done often (Angela's Ashes is one of the better ones around at the moment) but this author takes it to a new level, and makes it his domain. It's an excellent story and the charcters are very likeable so the reader is pulled deep into the story. I hope this also goes on to become a film, it would be as compelling to watch, as it is to read.
