Corrections and/or alternatives will be offered, for errors such as wrong words, wrong spelling, punctuation, word and tense consistency, which is covered by the Light, but also with a few extras, such as consistency in tone, verbal tenses and word choices. It also includes suggestions for changing badly structured, or badly worded sentences and paragraphs. It does not include dating or factual inaccuracies. This service is not suitable for technical manuscripts. The edit will take around four to five weeks, but if the client has an urgent deadline, this can be discussed. Acceptable formats; Word or any Office programme that can be easily modified only. No PDFs accepted. Before the document is sent, we would prefer an initial contact email (with "Non-Fiction Heavy edit" in the subject line) outlining any special requests, then on receipt of my confirmation, the document can be sent.
