Intriguing, arresting, great read... [ No Rating ] 11 Feb 2007

Stephen Payne has written another classic piece of fiction. The author has created an alternative but very believable world. It really gets you thinking...what if...could this happen...another great read...
Off into a parallel world... [ No Rating ] 9 Feb 2007
Once again we are taken by Steve on an exciting journey across a parallel world perhaps more frightening than our own. That said, it sounds like a perfect world in which to visit the uncrowded attractions of Europe's greatest cities.... armed with a big bunch of red grapes, of course.
It's nice to know that our well established drinking culture is keeping the bugs at bay..

It's nice to know that our well established drinking culture is keeping the bugs at bay. So the old vin rouge saved the would as we know it from certain extinction but what about traditional pint of good English ale. Surely there must be a reason it is so revered in the old country. Surely it must be able to take it's place alongside a cheeky glass of red at the top of "great drinks that have served mankind"

Another interesting, entertaining and well researched yarn. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The pictures are witty and well selected. Full marks! (sorry - I can't seem to work out how to award stars as a reviewer.)

It is really, really good. Well done. It made a very good read. It sounds like true history for someone like me who do not know the whole history. Brilliant stuff.
