I read this book on the web site Jane Austen's Land of Ahhh's and enjoyed it so much that I decided to purchase a hard copy of the book (I think it's a fair way to acknowledge the time and efforts of the author). The only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is that I would reserve five stars for Ms. Austen herself. I felt that the author's portrayal of the main characters was consistent with the original and I felt as if I was visiting with old friends again. I will be recommending this book to my fellow P&P fans and I hope that more people will read and enjoy it.

I read this book with delight. Darcy, Elizabeth, Jane and Georgiana play prominently in this alternative treatment of Pride and Prejudice. Darcy has an accident and is unconscious while Elizabeth comes to Pemberley at Georgiana's invitation to help Darcy. The exchange among the characters and the extra twists in the plot make this a fun and enjoyable read. Thank you, Kara Louise, for your creative storytelling.

This is one of the best Jane Austen-based fictions out there. Kara Louise has a delightful style that made me want to keep reading, and her knowledge of Jane Austen is excellent. It's a romantic and uplifting story which leaves the reader with a sense of satisfaction at the happy ending for our beloved characters.
