Description:

If there's a universal definition of God, it is "the Creator". If we're to believe that the Creator also wrote the Bible, shouldn't we expect this book to be consistent with what we observe in the natural universe? In God vs. the Bible, you'll see how God's Creation discredits Christian scripture.

Every Christian and every believer in scripture of any kind should be reading this book now. It compares face to face the honesty of reason and observable evidence in the Created world, (God’s actual creation), with written scripture "declared" as God’s Word.

The premise is so well supported that to deny the basis of God vs. the Bible would be to deny the definition of God as Creator. John Armstrong makes a strong, methodical, well documented case against the Bible having been inspired by any god.

If there is any shortcoming it is with the assumption that God exists! There is no attempt to establish any god having existence whatsoever, except to assume one by virtue of existence. Ordinarily this would be acceptable to those that already believe in a god.

The problem here, however, is that the author is attempting to make a case for Deism, but then neglects to establish the case for a deity. If the author were Pantheist, the book would be 100% solid.

I fully recommend this book for the way it establishes Creation (the real world) as the measure of truth against the fallacy of man’s word masquerading as God’s. Such a concept cannot be overlooked for establishing truth.

Some fear anything that challenges the status quo. This book can open eyes to a reality others would ratner see go away.

I've read this from cover to cover and had the honor of seeing this book in it's manuscript layout and John not only lays out the facts, he challenges you to think with straight forward questions mixed with a healthy dose of satirical humor. I would (and have) recommended this book to anyone with a free will and a mind open to challenging the status quo. The bible likes to refer to the common man as the "Flock" and if you're happy to follow like a sheep blindly then this book might just change your mind. Let your mind free, stop following and start leading your own path. Take control of the Mind God gave you and ask questions of the world and yourself until there are no more questions left to ask. Would you sell your House to a stranger on Faith with no down payment? Why on earth would you do that then with your soul if it's so precious? Read this book and learn a lot more about the world than your church would like you to know! Two Thumbs Up!
