Description:

As more and more new airlines appear in the UK, and as the giants of Ryanair and Easyjet expand their route network, there has never been a better time to escape for a weekend away to watch some football. Whether it is a short overnighter to watch Beckham play for Real Madrid, or a longer weekend break to catch two or three matches in Denmark, this book will help you plan that trip. The book will take you through a brief history of each club, an overview of the stadium, a guide on how to get to the stadium as well as information on the city in terms of where to stay and what to see and do. Of course we will also give you some idea of which budget airline flies to the cities and how to use public transport to get to and from the airport.

The Supreme guide to watching football in Europe - 4 stars All of us are spending more money travelling abroad to watch football, and are faced with the same questions - where is the stadium? How do I use public transport ? How do I avoid being ripped off by ticket touts and hell hole hotels? This guide allows you to avoid all such irritations. The madcap Stuart Fuller has mapped out the whole of European Football for us all to explore and get the most out of our travels to places like Sparta Prague. The guide is aimed at the traveller who doesn't want to simply book into the Hilton and hire a limousine - it's for those people who want to do it themselves. It's also highly worth reading for those who simply want to stay at home.

"Yet another gem from the author - if you are looking for a cheap break away in Europe or are an avid fan of the beautiful game or both, well look no further. The author guides us through passport control without breaking the bank. If you buy just one travel guide in 2007, ensure this is in your trolley."
