The Air Force is not willing to spend the $5 million dollars they say it would take to locate the Tybee hydrogen bomb. Over the years, they have probably spent more than that on paper clips. Maybe we cannot stop them from playing with nuclear toys, but we can darn sure make them clean up their mess when they are done. The 2004 DTRA/A.S.S.U.R.E. expedition had its funding terminated after only two days of searching. Somebody in the Pentagon must have been afraid that they would actually find the bomb and prove that all of the abandoned loose nukes are armed and ready to blow. Can you imagine how many heads in brass hats would roll in the ensuing ruckus? The Air Force is obviously covering up. The big question is why isn't Congress doing something about it?
