Description:

A composition of poetry from the last ten years. Hitting on topics from the life of a rose to the tempting tic of a clock; to the start of one life to the violent end of another. From an old man about to give up on life to a struggling man who needs a helping hand pushing on in life. Some people have found these poems closely relate to their own experience in life. The title, Trapped Within Melting Ice, comes from my nickname "Ice Man" and the tough persona that comes with it. This book is about how my hard and cold outer shell is finally starting to melt and my true self is starting to shine in the world.
