Description:

Normally, if you create a document containing "fixed objects" - images, shapes, etc. - using iWork Pages and later decide you want to insert a page at some point inside the document, you will discover an excruciating task of having to reposition image by image across the entire document, in order to open space for the new page(s) you want to insert.

All users have failed trying to figure out a solution to make this process smoothly.

Using iWork Pages since day zero to write all my new books and articles for magazines, I finally figured out how to insert one or more pages inside a document already created with fixed objects without destroying the document and even without having to move any image inside the document to open space.

So, I decided to publish the answer to that puzzle in this article, that is just 5 pages long.
