Description:As the sequel to 'Between Truth and Illusion', this volume of aphoristic essays and essayistic aphorisms and/or maxims carries on the dualistic theories from where BTAI left off, but does so with greater intellectual freedom and stylistic abandon, creating a substantial essayistic platform from which the aphorisms and maxims were subsequently launched, to dualistic and sometimes more than dualistic effect. Sharing a similar three-part structure to its literary predecessor, 'Between Truth and Illusion', this text is nonetheless thematically freer and more expansive in its analysis, from a largely dualistic standpoint, of a world which is largely a human construct in which many of its so-called truths are actually founded upon illusory concepts which we take for granted as though they literally corresponded to immutable realities. In that sense, this text is profoundly existentialist in its underlying scepticism if not nihilism.
