Description:

If you have ever lost a beloved pet, you will know the pain and grief are just as real as any other grief. This collection of poems tries to express some of those feelings into words – words of love, pain and that all too familiar feeling of guilt. Some of these poems are written from the perspective of a dog or cat. I believe the words are what they would say if they could speak our language. You may like to have a box of tissues at hand while you read these heart – felt poems. A donation of £1 UK Sterling will be donated by the author to The Hull Animal Welfare Trust, for every book sold

A moving and poignant read for animal lovers anywhere, from a talented and compassionate poet. [ No Rating ] 13 Jan 2008
Steve's poems have long moved me, and I am delighted that he has compiled them to share amongst a wider reader audience.
Each poem, each page, is written from the heart and soul, and inspiration for many of these comes from his and others' furangels who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
I have had the honour of meeting Steve a few times and he is a very compassionate and spiritual person.
His poems bear testament to this, and bring comfort to all those who have lost a cherished animal, bringing them close to their loved one through vivid portrayal of all that is beautiful in the wonderful home that we call the Rainbow Bridge.
This is a very lovely first compilation from a very talented and skilled poet, and I look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.

Anyone who has ever experienced the heartwrenching loss of a beloved furchild will find Steve's writing touching. Steve is a talented writer with the knack of reaching the depths of emotion. Some from the view point of us humans and some from the view of our furangels. Have a box of tissues nearby as you stroll down memory lane remembering your own loss. Substitute the name of your furangel as you find healing, peace, and light with the reassurance that one day you will be reunited with baby. Even though we have never met in person I consider Steve my brother. His touching tribute to my angels has been included, giving them a little bit of immortality. 3 Little Angels is my personal favorite. Thank you again my friend.
