Description:Poetry, for me, is an attempt to bring order to insanity. This is a collection from a period of years which include nearly all the emotions we humans are subject to, and sadly, often act upon. Some of these poems are a cry in the night. Some are introspective. Some are just for fun. All are from the heart. Keywords:Listed in: |

There is no-one better on here, an equal, yes, ( Gopal ), but no-one better. This man's poetry is subtle in the way his poems make you think. There's something familiar there, 'I feel like that sometimes' or 'I've been there' and so on. I defy anyone to better the poem about the man picking up stones. Owa is not limited to the one style, either. He has mastered the free flowing prose just as easily as he can stick rigidly to the meter. His observations on the carnage of war still being wrought years later at a personal level are astounding. One or more of us may be going through this, but can you share it the way Owa does? If you can, you are lucky. And we are lucky indeed, to have Owa among us on Lulu. God bless him.

You are indeed a very gifted writer as your desrciptive words are able to paint visions in ones mind while reading. Great job Al...if there were more thumbs up, I'd give them all to you. Well done! ~valentyne~ lang. ^O^
I bought this book a few months back, and it has not left my reading table since. I find something new every time I look at it. Al has a dramatic way with words, a powerful impact on evrything he wrires about. His talent knows no limits, His ability to bring your emotions out of you, to nurtur and develop them is incredible. Buy this book if its the only thing you buy.

I have seen several poems written by Al Kroeger on the forums, and not a single one has been badly structured, or badly worded. Some are funny, some make you want to cry, and others make you feel the poet's love, and all of them are impressive.
A great book of poetry, from a great poet.
