This title exemplifies a certain optimism about the possibility of human life progressing, with due transmutations, towards what the author has called the 'supernoumenon', which is intended to signify that which is antithetical, as air to fire, to the 'noumenon', as posited by Schopenhauer as being at the roots of all phenomenal extrapolations. In this instance, we have to allow, contrary to Schopenhauer, for a 'superphenomenal' precondition, in artificial modernity, of this hypothetical 'supernoumenal' resolution, since that which is merely 'phenomenon' has no bearing on 'supernoumenal' possibility.
