Read this guy's work over at the Lampshadian Outpost, where his poems were showcased. Not too bad. Love the loose feel and the splitering verses. Book was a bit long. Grade: B-

Poetry? Some of it yeah. But mosty from what I gathered, I read this is as free verse comedy - from a guy with an obvious penchant for obscurity.

When Andrew is on he is on. When he is off he is 1000 miles from this universe. A possible obsession with Lewis Carroll exists.

A fun ride, with a few ill-advised detours. Stick to the road and beware of the moon.

As people, we all have thoughts, some brief, others long and drawn out with detail, that could be considered not fit for the consumption of others. This guy has these thoughts and he lets them all hang out. The poems move form and sentiment around the clock. One poem that splashes with the paranoia of new world skepticism...and then a few pages later about the joys of staying home with his girlfriend or wife...then back to the madness, then more sadness. When I was through with the book I wasn't sure if I hated this guy or if I loved him.

I highly recommend this book if you're looking for something new and exciting. Presently my mother is working her way through the book and she's loving it. Which is odd, because she's a poetry purist.

there is something so innocent and disarming about this poet's vision..when juxtaposed against the head splitting madness and the endless weaving of cerebral and often surreal passages, that somehow fall out the other side of my conciousness, as necessary and vital. Influences are readily available upon the page like a cystal vase. Drop the vase and watch it shatter. Each piece reflecting genuinity and a voice of it's own.

A true headfuck for the masses (of lunatics)

andrew's poems are bizarre, twisting, warping, confounding and surreal, but it ticks inside your head so well that it's as if he's writing out just what you're dreaming while pulling out all your thoughts and calling them his own. well put together, i really enjoyed this book.
