To me this is the author's best work so far! In My Naked Flesh is a book of short poems of feeling. It has a very different tone from her other books and pieces, in this book the author looks into herself. She describes in the brief detail of short poems, deep emotion. Anyone reading this book who ever felt alone at some point in their life will be able to related in this book. While I would not say the material is about the happiest days of the authors life, when you read it you to will see and can actually feel through the authors words you see how she goes from confused to finding herself. And realize that the journey while different, is very much the same for you.
This is a great book, especially if you need time to meditate and contemplate your place in the world that surrounds you.
Five Stars!

I just finished reading "In My Naked Flesh" and I am still trying to gather my thoughts and emotions in order to fully explain how much I enjoyed this book. Actually, I think this is the author's best work thus far. As I was centering into her flow of words, I became extra thankful that God allowed this author and myself to cross paths. Castina, you are indeed a beautiful young soul with a powerful mind.
In my eyes, your heart, your vision, your words and your unique sense of expression make you a genius. You are really a treasure to our heritage.
I love every piece in that book because deeply, like a recent memory, I can see every scene being played in front of me. I can hear the child inside the author; I can hear the adult inside her words and consciousness. I see the hunger for life. I can relate to it all.
Thank God for you. This world needs more people like you.
With much love & maximum respect
