John's , The Old Man's Trousers, is a very comical read. John has great talent as a writer and will keep you reading until the final sentence of the final word. Great Job!

Imagination and talent are too rarely found in the same writer. John has both in spades, and puts them to good use in "The Old Man's Trousers". The characters, from their names to their actions, are so well drawn that you feel like having a cup of tea with them. Small stories inside the big story are a real bonus! I recommend this, and any of John's works, wholeheartedly.

From the first sentence, John Haines splashes us into the scene. I felt I had a front row seat watching the entire story play out. Great folksy feel. Great piece.

There are shades of Wallace & Gromit in the title, and I dare say with all the dialogue it would make rather a good sitcom. The preview is so good in fact that I have decided to splash out on the full download version. Nothing like putting your money where your mouth is, right? Anyway, the tale of the nuclear trousers in the English countryside is full of humour and moves along at a cracking pace. This author knows what he is about, and deserves to go far. Cheers, John!

This is a great short story, very funny and well written. The plot varies from great dialogue to plain daft situations, and it's truly funny. My favourite author has done it again, another brilliant tale.

The writing in this book is fabulous. Witty, charming and humorous. I felt as if I was a very nearby "voyeur" throughout, and to me, that is the mark of a great writer.
Great job.
