Hi Angela, I am finally learning my way around lulu ....LOL....I really enjoyed reading this and that short poem "Thoughts" was so intense....it was probably the shortest dark poem I have ever read....I will have to read more of your work and maybe I will find more dark poetry....

I am most impressed with the writing. The Jumper of Frae Tale seems to focus on traditions which are sometimes less than sensible - what do the people jump for? "Frae Tale" is the name of a place, presumably imaginary. For a moment I thought "Tale" was tale, as in story. Anyway, while this is not my usual cup of tea I can tell that it is a stimulating and enjoyable read. Well Done! Ian
P.S. Angela has now sent me the ending of Frae Tale and I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but it is well worth reading!

Excellent prose and scene setting which leaves the reader wanting more. The first could be a tale of biblical, and ruthless justice, the second presented here is an interesting look at the days when a rulers word was law, and entertaining the ruler was a vocation not a choice. There is a tragi-comical proverb sandwiched in-between, letting us all know that it is snippets and nuggets which define this interesting read. Well done.
