Description:

Following the success of his previous business book released on TrackerDog Media, SPLAM! Successful Property Letting And Management, David here turns his attention toward the online book sales business. Big Money in Books tells us how David built up a flourishing online books sales business from home utilising very little capital and low risk. The book gives details as to where and how to buy books for pennies, books that could be sold for £15, £25, even £35 each, and more besides. The manual also includes a list of 50 hot books to look out for. The writer tells us where to buy and what to buy, and as he says, just as importantly, what NOT to buy. There is a good section on how and where to sell, and it is all written in an easy to follow style. There is a chapter dealing with filling and administrating orders, plus a good trade glossary and contact list, and much more besides. The book runs to 240 pages, is a perfect bound paperback with full colour covers, and it is out now.

Big Money in Books reviewed by Gerry Tarbuck [ No Rating ] 26 Nov 2007

If you are serious about having your own successful home-based business and you enjoy books and surfing the web then this could be right up your street. The online buying and selling of books has become big business in recent years, and David Carter's well written and comprehensively detailed 244 page paperback is a must for anyone interested in emulating David by owning a successful online bookshop.

All aspects of setting up and operating the business is covered in meticulous step-by-step detail including information such as where to buy books for pennies and sell them for pounds, and how to gain an edge over your competitors. The chapter on the types and categories of books that attract the highest prices, as opposed to those which are to be avoided at all costs, was especially fascinating and a real eye opener - just the sort of essential information we need if costly mistakes are to be avoided and a business is to grow quickly and prosper.

Unlike many of the "How to's" I have reviewed over the years, David's book left me believing I had at my fingertips all the necessary know-how to set up and get trading without further ado or research. This is not a book for those of us in the business of selling "How to's", as opposed to acting on the information provided, simply because it doesn't come with resale rights. Indeed if it did, it would be in our portfolio in a flash!

On the other hand, if you are looking for a genuine and potentially highly lucrative home-based business selling an unlimited stream of in demand products to a worldwide audience, then look no further than this.

Big Money in Books - review [ No Rating ] 17 Aug 2007 (updated 17 Aug 2007)

I often have books/publications and home business opportunities arrive at my desk for my perusal and normally accompanied with a request for a favorable review and recommendation. Regrettably most, in my opinion, do not offer genuine business opportunities and in many instances quite honestly are not even worth serious consideration.

However, every now and then something arrives which for those that are really serious in making a success of a new business venture not only needs a second look but positive action will undoubtedly reap rewards.

I'm referring to a new publication written and published by David Carter on how to start and run your own online bookstore, titled `Big Money In Books'.

The book covers every aspect of the business, over 200 pages of information and `how to' guide lines including:-Starting Up-

Acquiring Stock-What and What not To Buy-Where To Sell-Pricing and Listing-

Books To Look-For-Free Colour Printing

Free Stock-Contact Lists-Questions and Answers.

The above are just a sample of the many informative sections of the book along with web and email addresses of suppliers and the like.

I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this publication to all those seriously dedicated to achieving success in the home working industry.

Priced at just £11.95 for a hard copy or £7.95 for the download version you have little to lose but much to gain.
