This is a wonderful collection of pieces that are succinct and evocative of existentialist struggle and acceptance. Emmanuel Florial is clearly a poet to watch.
You have truly done a great job Emmanuel. This is an extremly good piece of work. I won't call it a masterpiece beacuse you always find a way to out do what you did the first time. You did it while we were in school and I know you will continue to do so in life. Keep on doin what you doin while you do it so well. Just keep in mind that my book is a work in progress. I'll always be a fan. Your girl...Allison.
A beautiful collection of well written and emotional poems, written from the heart, to be read and enjoyed by many.

Mr. Florial is a powerful poet. I first discovered him through his personal website and was very impressed by his work. I am excited to now see his work available in print. His artistry is capable of evoking a wide array of emotion in a single reader, which is something for which every poet should strive. One of my favorite lines is found in the piece he calls TRUE BEAUTY, it reads, "I wish I could sleep until forever came twice." This book is a must have for poetry lovers and poets alike.

Emmanuel has a distinct way of describing his inner most emotions through his great writing.

The poetry herein is awesome, perfectly describing situations, places and feelings in a way only a great poet can. The poets touch the heart, making you feel exactly how the poet wanted you to, playing with your emotions and feelings. Lovely work.

I'm not a big fan of poetry but some of your poems in that were really good. I love Whats In A Name. Your poems were simple yet complex.
I wasn't sure what to expect as I haven't reviewed a book from Lulu before. I was quite suprised. Only complaint is the price. $8.50 for a download is to much.

Deep thoughts to stir raw emotions! The poet draws powerful images, especially in my favorite "Apart from the Lee." These touching verses make me want to pick up my wounded heart and pen my own brand of theraputic poetry.
I mean easy to read in a good sense. This is confident and strong poetry. I don't understand all of it, but I can appreciate the effort and ability here.
As a fellow "poet" , I admire Emmanuel's skill. I am scared by his voice though- it comes from a seemingly more "personal place" than I could or would dare offer myself up on.
No glassy veneer here.
"Cake Sprinkles" especially(if that doesn't get to you, you need to go to your local/metro hospital and see if you can get on the waiting list for heart donors)...

Poignant, sad, yet not without hope, in part anyway. It is all very good writing, but 'Apart from the Lee' is a very clever verse, and stands out from the rest.
Well done.

I am excited to receive Emmanuel's book as I know his poetry, and it's divine. I had the privilege to work on a collaborative work with Emmanuel and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He is a poet of our times. He writes so sincerely from his heart. I wish you all the luck with your book sales Emmanuel.
