Race War To Door Wars, details the life history of Joe Owens UK far-right activist, and martial arts exponent. Involved in Nationalist politics for over twenty years, he acted as personal bodyguard for BNP Chairman Nick Griffin. Simultaneously he was carving a niche for himself in the world of door security. In 'ACTION!' he exposes the so-called 'revolutionaries', who run to the state for help, 'gangsters' who double as police informants and phoney 'celebrity' gangsters aboard their lucrative gravy train. He reveals the truth about the dangerous clubland and political underworlds - without regard for his personal safety. Condemned by political opponents and the media, imprisoned, accused of murder and gunned down in a Liverpool street - follow Owens' life's journey in this blockbuster autobiography. Listed in: |

Through this rollercoaster, adrenaline fuelled ride you will discover not only the secret war between the far right and far left in British politics as both battled for control of the streets in Liverpool, but also the shady dealings and dark underworld that dwelled on the edges of the UK club scene.
Never before has such a frank and unabashed book been published. Written from the perspective of a man who is not ashamed of his actions and wants to give of REAL acount of his amazing life story.
If you're looking for a real story, with all the action and violence left in - and no apologies made for it. If you want to know what really goes in the battle for the streets then read this!
My only critiscm would be that after such a compelling read I wished there was more! I couldn't recommend this enough.
Containing numerous graphic accounts of ten years worth of brawls, the violence doesn’t come across as gratuitous, maybe because when it was doled out against Militant thugs it seems so much more deserved.
This is a great read; I was gripped from the start. Full of humour, political comment, and a sound anti-Communist message.
