Description:

A compilation of poetry and song lyrics that convey personal experiences of the author as well as unnamed dreams and fears. Compiled over the years the author shares very personal moments in her life. Written in a very dark reality that most people choose to ignore. The Authors intention by venting her personal struggle is to somehow relate to a side of everyone that is left unsaid; this is her way of saying it. Although it seems an intrusion into the fears and hopes of an artistic mind, the simplistic form allows the reader to finish and digest the raw emotion in one sitting.

Even if you should disagree with some of the content and language contained in this book, the artistic style alone should intrigue you to continue reading once you've started. This book is full of diversity. I'd compare it to a cd where the band plays goth on one track and then punk on the next, following with a classick rock opus, and every track mixes it up until the end. The range of emotions in this book is similar to such a concept. It brings out everything in you. It's dark at times, angry at others, shows traces of hope when you're not expecting it, and then tears your heart out, only to begin the rebuilding process. Such an artistic masterpiece as this is rare in the published world nowadays. This book deserves national attention. That starts with you. Get yourself a pillow to punch, a box of tissues to wipe your tears, and buy this book. Throw yourself in to the world of love, hate, anger, and depression that the author created. It will be an experience that you will never forget. When she wrote this book, the author opened her heart and soul and put in writing. That's a big risk to take and I found that as a reader I was grateful for her open-ness. If there's ever a written work that lets you know that you are not alone, this is it. See for yourself. Read it.
