Description:A collection of various poetic topics and techniques from classical to contemporary. The title was influenced by a work from W.B. Yeats' "The Wind Among the Reeds", called "The Travail of Passion". In it he references "Kidron's stream". "Kidron is a ravine E. of Jerusalem leading to the Mount of Olives: traditionally identified by Jewish, Christian and Muslim religions as the Valley of Decision, the place of the final judgment."
