When I travelled from England to Siem Reap, Cambodia in December 2006 I had heard of the Angkor Wat temple complex. However, none of the guide books had prepared me for what I would see. There were lots of maps and words in the guide books, but very few pictures! A picture paints a thousand words and with this book, “Images of Angkor, Cambodia” I hope to share with you the typical sights that a tourist will see. I hope to give you a flavour of what a three day tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex is like and convince you to follow in my foot steps and make a visit!
