This service helps you understand your work from an editor's point of view; critiques are an invaluable tool for tightening and improving your work. We will thoroughly read your work, paying particular attention to plot, structure, characterisation and style. We will then prepare a full critique report (using examples to illustrate points) that you will receive by e-mail. We will then support you either by phone or e-mail in resolving any issues and moving the book forward. The price is based on an 80,000 word MS and will vary according to word count. An Excellent Service

Recently Pen Friends UK carried out an in-depth critique of my fiction novel manuscript. The advice given in the Critique has been extremely helpful by enabling me to see my mistakes more clearly.

Carlie’s critique not only pointed out my strong points, she also pointed out the fundamental flaws in my novel, which some of my previous readers and I had not seen.

What was invaluable was that Carlie offered suggestions for solving them.

The service was very clear and concise with point by point comment on each chapter and scene.

Having spent nearly two years researching my subject and writing the work I had failed to deal with the basic fundamentals by failing to create strong protagonists and POV characters.

Very good critiques here. Well worded, fast processing time, very clear and concise. Well worth the money. I would recommend these critiques to anyone. Pointed out many flaws in my writing in areas that I hadn't even known existed.

Worth every penny. A double thumbs up.
