This book is unbelievable!!! You start one and you can't put it down---almost like a novel. I have taken this to work with me and bragged to all my friends about the beautiful strong woman on the cover of this book---and I know her. When I very first had the opportunity to hear the author read poetry, I had my one favorite poem. Now that I have read her collection, I have many. I know when I have connected with the author of whatever I am reading because I develop goosebumps on my arms and the hair on my neck stands up. I truly can't wait until her second release, I will be the first in line. Absolutely beautiful!!! Love you girl.

For someone that is also very into poetry, this was a great treat for me. I am very particular about the poetry that I read. If I can relate in some way, or be able to feel what the author is saying, I love it...and that's how I felt through the whole thing. Its always good to know that you are not the only one out there that goes through things and reassures you that you will overcome almost anything that you are faced with. It also makes you feel like you know her more personally than just by reading her book. Great Job! I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

I absolutely loved it. From reading the introduction, I can tell the poems truly do tell the story of part of your life. That is what make it so easy to read - it comes from the heart. I am not a person who like poetry that much. To be honest, I looked at the book because my husband gave it to me. I had no intentions of reading it, but when I read two or three of the poems, I could not put the book down. I read the whole book!!!! There were a few poems that I could actually relate to; this made the reading even more interesting. I thank my husband for introducing me to you through your book of poems.

This book was definitely a "mind-grabbing, heart pumping don't interupt me while I'm reading" book. While I felt as though I was walking in her shoes through so many of her poems, I was actually able to grasp the emotions she so bravely shared with her readers. I love the strong spiritual beliefs of this writer as well as her blunt honesty (not holding back a thing while telling it like it is). I would encourage anyone to read this book and see how quickly you find an image of yourself through her poetic expressions. Keep Writing...I look forward to more of your work. God Bless...
