This is the real story of the O.C. "All fiction is true. I am going to come right out and say it. It all happened sometime, someplace, somewhere. Non-fiction, that's where the quality B.S. comes from nowadays. 'A Million Little Pieces' - Need I say more? But fiction is all true and the worst offenders are these nasty little fairy tales. They're the truest of them all. In fact I think fairy tales where invented so that authors would not have to defend their positions on the issues they write of. 'Hey it's only a fairy tale get over it.' - That kind of brush off. Fairy tale writers are sneaky bastards, they always tell the truth." Theodore W. Wilson Professor of Literature Keywords:Listed in: |

Now it's my turn.
The Title Says "Newport A fairytale of sorts" I really started to wonder what was written inside this book. The fact that I was raised in Newport Beach ,CA and is still where my Parents live intrigued me even more.
I will be honest. I am not much of a reader as I did enough reading in college. I'm definitely not a fan of Book Clubs like my wife..
Ok I will get to the point!
From start to finish this book had my attention. The book flowed very easy and kept you wondering what was going to happen next.
Very realistic about the Newport community. Many parts in the book had me laughing out loud. Reminded me of friends parents from Elementary to High School.
I have watched the TV Show " The OC" It's not realistic..That's why it was cancelled. The new TV show " Newport Harbor" my old high school is just as bad.
So in closing...If you want a entertaining and exciting book about Newport then order it online..I recommend this book 100% A+++.
It kind of makes me feel like I've been to Newport with all the opulence and weirdness.
Worth Noting...The poetry in this book is awesome!
