Tokens of Trust was written as a tool for parents and teachers to stimulate conversation with children. The book does not attempt to speak down to the reader or listener but presents ideas which may be explored together. The book has been test read to a 2nd grade class in New Jersey and a an introductory college English class for adults in Oregon. Most of the feed back about the book concerned when it would be published so the book could be shared with others.
I have been asked for what grade level or age this book is targeted. From the feed back I have received it is targeted for readers from 6 to 86. I do not know if individuals on either side of that age spectrum would enjoy it, but that is simply because I have not shared the book with any individuals out side of that age group.
