Aside from them needing to know more about us before they start to see who we are, we might have the sense that we have a good idea who we both are. Conversely, we are giving them a new sense of someone that they have not known, but that we have known and loved. Either we loved ourselves, or we have a sense of loneliness or that there's something missing. Or both. We are the swan and the man in this picture.
