Printed: 3 pages, 6" x 9", saddle-stitch binding, black and white interior ink Description:A poem about saying thank you to our teachers. Many teachers make a sacrifice to serve in their profession. And what many value most is the thank you and recognition of their work to help our children grow. While at times it is easy to become frustrated with teachers and coaches, because our expectations are high, it is good to remember the significance that these people play in our children's lives, and to appreciate them. The poem begins with "You May Not Remember Me, but", which refers to the teachers of our children when they are young, from nursery school to 5th grade. While what is taught by their teachers is significant in their lives and development, the students may not even remember the teacher once they are older. Yet, the teacher is satisfied with the role, especially when we remember to thank them - Thank You For Being My Teacher. Listed in: |
