Description:

THE END OF EVOLUTION points towards a future hypothetical - and morally desirable - culmination of evolution which will be both transcendentalist and antifundamentalist, idealist and antimaterialist, metaphysical and antimetachemical, and therefore provides a structured blueprint for a credible alternative to worldly norms. In that respect, it is beyond any utopian reductionism and/or fudged eschatology.

This aphoristic philosophy project by John O'Loughlin has reference to a projected goal of evolution identified, in the title, with the 'end', which is no simple monolith of metaphysical idealism, but a structured system also embracing what the author calls antimetachemistry, as the necessary corollary of a metaphysical hegemony. Thus the author believes he has overcome utopian reductionism by positing an eventuality which is structurally viable.
