Description:

Hurry Home reads like a short story, though it is really a collection of poems that captures the imbalance that occurs when people who love each other are suddenly separated. The author is one, though the voices are many. Both male and female, they speak from the heart about war, about missing their soldier lovers who have gone off to war, and about what war means to them. Hurry home is a must read because each and every poem lives a life of its own.

I like the book. A coworker knows this author and told me to check him out. Sensitive, stuff. Not too many people will take on such a subject. My husband really got into it after reading the (War Chronicles). That's good for someone who doesn't read poetry. Any more???

As Bette Midler once said, "People are not the best because they work hard. They work hard because they are the best."

This is one of the "best" stimulating poetry works I have encountered. The Author's passion for writing "Hurry Home (War Chronicles)", encompasses every poem.

A must read anytime anywhere!!!

This is a good collection of poems presented in a unique way, the content is well written, covering an emotional subject but done artfully. A great book for those who have suffered this separation, and for those who haven't.
