Subtitled 'The New Revelation', this significant work is revelatory in an unquestionably profound way of the relationships between soma and psyche, or body and mind, according to gender and the conditioning of the one gender by the other, so that parallel sets of criteria can be inferred and then rejected in favour of the set favouring moral progress in terms of an enhancement of civilization, composed, as it is, of a combination of culture and civility, roughly corresponding to free psyche and bound soma. After which point the debunking of the other set of criteria, characterized as heathenistic, would follow as a matter of course or, better, moral necessity.
