Description:This volume of aphoristic philosophy, like its precursor 'Opti-mystic Projections', continues with an analysis of Anglo-American relations vis-a-vis Europe and, with conclusions that are less than flattering to either side, addresses the problem from a Social Theocratic standpoint as that which is more likely to unblock any division rooted in Catholic/Protestant antipathy and suspicion, no matter how disguised or unspoken. Anybody who reads this title in its eBook format will not be long in concluding that its author is no great enthusiast of Britain's reluctance to enter into closer ties with Europe, not least in respect of the euro, and that part of the reason for this must be attributed, over and above British traditions, to Britain's unique relationship with America and a kind of Anglo-American opposition to enhanced European integration. Be that as it may, this project is far from overly defeatist in its attitude to the status quo, which it addresses from a different ideological standpoint, wherein its optimism, if one can put it that way, has its foundation.
