Description:

A tale of bold adventure and sly humour from Eisner-nominated author Tony Cliff. Selim abd al-Rahim is a Captain in the armies of the Ottoman Empire, where he struggles to gain honour and the acceptance of his superiors. When a strange woman is captured trespassing on the Sultan's palace grounds, things only get worse for Selim. Relaying the prisoner's unbelievable claims, he finds himself struggling to maintain the already tenuous grasp he has on his position. When the prisoner escapes, though, it is his life that he finds is on the line...

A Great Comic [ No Rating ] 12 May 2008 (updated 12 May 2008)

I got this book today and loved it. Tony Cliff is not only a fabulous artist, he's also a fine storyteller. I can see why this was nominated for an Eisner Award.

I'd also like to point out that the quality of the packaging is top notch.
