Elspeth Dumont has never known anything apart from the care of her guardians. Lucian's enticement. Elspeth's torment. Will love conquer all? Trust me, this is one book you do not want to miss. A good gothic mystery/romance is so hard to find these days. Especially one where the romance isn't overblown. Everything about The Face at the Window is shrouded in dark subtleties and beauty. It even bears a hint of the supernatural to titillate your senses. Lucian and Elspeth struggle with their combined loathing and deepest attraction for each other. And throughout the tale is woven a remarkable web of undisturbed secrets which, if loosed, can obliterate all relationships and dreams. I knew from the first chapter that The Face at the Window was a winner. Give it a chance, and you'll love it as much as I do.
